Ned Kelly was NO Robin Hood. Even after stealing the equivalent of about 1,000,000 not one penny of those funds went to his mother to assist her get out of gaol. Robin Hood be damned. They took hostages and they DID rob from them and on one occasion when a hostage stood up to Kelly, Kelly told him to open his mouth and Kelly put his revolver into his mouth and told him he would shoot him if he did not do what he said. He also put his gun to the temple of an old man who could not move fast telling him he would shoot him too. He stole family heirlooms from many of the hostages and despite pleas to return them, he refused. You missed the part where Kelly and his gang ambushed 4 police officers at Stringybark Creek and shot two of them in cold blood and chased another almost 800 metres through the bush before wounding him and then after being told that the officer had a pregnant wife and 5 children Kelly then took a shotgun and blasted the officer in the chest killing him instantly. Not happy with that he then robbed the corpse of a gold watch and money. Some hero. Ned Kelly was nothing but a vicious criminal who deserved his fate.
